Your challenge
Engineering and construction projects are Penco's core activities. The result of your work as a project manager therefore has a direct impact on our operating results and customer satisfaction.
That is why, as a project manager, you will have the following tasks:
- Problem analysis: As a project manager, you analyze the customer's question based on RFOs or other customer input.
- Provide a detailed solution: You define a solution where you draw up a clear approach and cost estimate.
- Internal team composition: Within our organization, you put together teams that are jointly responsible for the realization of projects. A project engineer is typically supported in carrying out substantive engineering tasks. Construction work also requires interaction and briefing to the construction department.
- Material order: This includes ordering material that is necessary for the realization of the project from the project management software.
- Communication: You are responsible for delivering P&IDs, 3Ds and project planning to customers.
- Project follow-up: As a project manager, you are responsible for monitoring projects and holding follow-up meetings with the customer. During these meetings, you will discuss the costs, both in terms of hours and materials, during the execution of the project.
- Listing: Draw up a snag item list and have outstanding points completed.
- Cost monitoring: You monitor the invoicing in line with the progress of the project and the associated payments.
- Quote evaluation: At the end of the installation phase, the project manager ensures the delivery of the documentation about the projects. You ensure that you personally check these different phases and have them signed off with the customer after documenting them. Depending on the project, the following phases are distinguished: some text
- Installation qualification (IQ): is everything installed as planned, I/O testing, etc.
- Operational qualification (OQ): functional tests, water tests
- Performance qualification (PQ): does the installation work on the intended target parameters (flows, pressures, losses, etc.)
- Reporting and calculating: Where necessary, the project manager draws up a subsequent calculation and reports it to the customer.
- Final evaluation: You discuss the project's “lesson learned” with the team.
What do you bring?
You already have various competencies in your backpack. For example, you have a analytically ability to think, can independently works and you have strong leadership and communication skills. Furthermore, you are also proactive and always positively set.
In addition to the right soft skills, you already have a diploma achieved and relevant work experience gained over the years:
- Master in a technical field or equivalent
- Experience as a project manager in the field of industrial processes
- Relevant work experience with liquid process equipment (pumps/valves/instrumentation)
To complete your backpack, you still have the following asset:
- Experience with stainless steel piping and construction
Can't you complete your backpack yet? No problem, drive and ability are the most important thing. We certainly still offer courses for other knowledge.
